Glen "Frosty" Little (1925 - Present)

clown pictures - Glenn "Frosty" Little, one of the great circus clowns for the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey circusInducted into the 1991 Clown Hall of Fame, Frosty began his career at age 29 with an amusement park in Denver, Colorado followed by an involvement for a time with a carnival operation. He was in the first Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Clown College graduating class, from which he was hired for the Red Unit at the end of 1968. In two years he was "Boss Clown" of the unit, a position he held until 1980.After producing and directing hundred of gags for the big show, Frosty was given the coveted title Master Clown By Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey, only the fourth to receive the title. He joined a very elite class of clown history with Otto Griebling, Bobby Kay and Lou Jacobs, his friend and mentor. Little appeared on 12 network TV shows, has written more than 300 gags and instructed clowns at the Japan Clown College. A white face clown, Frosty has become part of the Felds' Creative Services, a gag factory.

In over three decades of clowning he has performed hundreds and thousands of times, in venues from living rooms to the White House. He has shared the screen with stars like Barbara Mandrel and Dick Van Dyke,. breakfasted with President Richard Nixon, earned a place in the Clown Hall of Fame, and has impacted hundreds of clowns in the Ringling Bros. & Barnum and Bailey Clown College, and recently on the clown convention circuit. In fact, among other engagements, he is teaching at Mooseburger Camp in the summer of 2002.
