Fantastic playing, to be sure. But just a little creepy when she looks at you (the camera).

By the way, please pay attention to Aimi Kobayashi. I went out of my way making calls asking for help just for the chance to watch her play six months ago, and I truly believe her to be the embodiment of Gods gift to mankind. I grew up in musical surroundings (my mom is a piano/theory teacher), and I have never seen anyone remotely close to her in terms of pure innate talent. Subjective statement it is, I believe she might become our representative talent of this century.

Sorry if I misunderstand you, what I said was perhaps a ted uncalled for, where were my manners, my apologies.
From what I was told by a good friend and a very well-respected figure in the classical world, George has become very stubborn in his own ways nowadays which is hampering his growth but then again, judging ones intrinsic direction is very objective and an unfair game to begin with, even if its coming from you teacher or master class. Good or bad, guess time will tell.

I seriously don't understand how you got that feeling. Look, you said the piece is grade 7 and I was wondering were you kidding or not, then your reply made me realized that you really meant it so I tried to correct you because the piece is indeed way beyond grade 7. That's it. Just read what I posted again with a peace of mind. The only message I tried to deliver is to correct the statement that "this piece is grade 7".
ps. I love your favorites as well. And george li is really talented.

You know. Someone asked a question, and I responded in good faith. I was clean, concise, and non argumentative. Why do you feel such a rush in judging and with such spite? The way you poise yourself with such disdain, uncanny it truly makes me happy I was fortunate enough to have not met something with your humour during my 7 years stay in HK.
By the way, I love those videos in your favorites, you friends as well, real great taste. Quod erat demonstrandum. Have a great life, I am done.

Yes I play and I play this piece as well. I am sure Op.48 No.1 is way beyond grade 7. You can probably include it in LRSM repertoire.

I understood you in a rhetorical sense, and I responded mayhap I was a bit vague on my initial comment.
Do you play? If yes, skip the first 9 pages and try the last 3 and you shall see why this is hard. Difficulty lies in its left hand in broken stacks that is not C minor in nature and is extremely rheumatic to get used to.
Either way, you can check the abrsm board for progression practice recommandating, and you shall see - grade 7. I took that in HK when I was living there.

I don't get your point...you said Op.48 No.1 is grade 7, and i asked you were you kidding...
HawaiianTropicZone (December 31, 1969 at 4:59 pm)
Please tell us you know this is not the whole piece. Read the title again -> Op48. NUMBER ONE
OK, maybe I was a bit vague. Just think of this piece like moonlight sonata, the difference beteen mvt.1 and mvt.3
