His wife was fucking his bodyguard, it was crazy times back then. People didn't put limitations on themselves and they had an open relationship. He got inspirations from the early punk scene in New York city for his style. Iggy Pop wore dresses and make-up, and the New York Dolls paved the way for the whole glitter rock scene. Even Dee Dee Ramone had his fare share of man meat back in the day.

So is the gimmick of make up and costume artistic or just a trend he melted into in order to sell some records..........hmmmmmm, I wonder. This is a good song, but I can do without the cross dressing. If the music is solid, one should never have to appear in anything but street clothes
