That is just because they really got into the song itself, kinda like they felt the boy's despair and confusion... this made it such a powerful song. The last minutes are just choirs and screams and IMO is the song's best part.

Both the video and the song carry a powerful, sad and realistic message. And video it's amazing but I've always thought that Eddie Vader looks a little disturbing. I mean it's like Eddie was the one who encouraged the boy to shoot himself, even though I know he wouldn't do that.
