Even overclocked version of Radeon 4850 is faster than 9800GT.

There is a setting inside the Crysis game folder, in an XML file, that makes the game run in favors for Nvidia cards. You can "correct" it to even out the playing field for ATI and Nvidia. Some people were pissed off to see their 4800 series card run almost the same speed as 8800gt cards but this finding fixed all that. Something similar can be found in DiRT and other games. |
