You sang John O'Dreams at my uncles funeral (Derek Dunne - His brother Michael's son) in the Cathedral in Longford. I was I forget how old at the time, but everyone said it was an amazing performance. Derek was always great fun to be with, sad he is not still with uS. I still have the late late show to watch him on. Thanks

16 years ago I went to see you play in the Point Depot ('O2'for the younger follower),after playing a heartrenchinig rendition of'they never came home',with some in tears,my mate shouted out to u.Of course u acknowledged us with...'who said that'as a spot searched the crowd..Were over here...the crowd fell apart..later that month,our comment made the front page of HOTPRESS..'CHRISTY FOR TAOISEACH' Who knows,we can live in hope...I still have it years later,an I'm waiting 4 u to sign it for me..

y'know, on one of his tours he mentioned that he was "playing a gig on a saturday night and fella sang this song and I asked him if he'd let me have it, and he did" Thank God, right?
