Theres so many great supporters of Terry Kath on YouTube. Just wanted to let you know about an opportunity to support Terrys legacy by signing a petition for him.
Just Google "Gopetition Terry Kath" and youll find the site.
There are a lot of cool things being said about him there. It will help make sure future musicians and listeners get to hear his music and know his name.

its a shame there is a lapse at 2.30 in Terrys solo. the solo from the live album(70) is prob one of the best solos ever made along with South California purples. Terry was a god to me for so many years. these times my god is Joe Satriani.
thank u for posting chikagokid.

Bytheshore 1960, please save me a ticket. Kath was the best, Chicago the greatest.

Soul like Terry's can never die. Somewhere that soul HAS to still be playin'. And I hope when I get there I can get front row tickets!

I watched the DVD of Chicago / Earth, Wind, & Fire at the Greek Theatre. Walt did a long a fast flute solo. I don't know what happened, but he could get it to play. I could tell he was getting frustrated by his yells between breaths. I'm not knocking him though. I tried the flute. I couldn't even get one note out of it. Blowing into it just right is quite the battle.

I saw them hundreds of times in more than 20 States. The tour of 75 with the Beach Boys was un-friggin believable. At Aneheim stadium the crowd was so into the show they actually stopped the concert and said the stadium was becoming un safe because of all the bouncing in the upper decks. The next day it was on all the newscasts. Ahh yes, those were the good old days. |
