Pharmstrong choose not to have them re-tested in America because he knew those six samples would still be positive for epo. It doesnt matter what side of the Atlantic, a positive is a positive.

WADA acredited independent scientists have found positive athletes from Spain, Italy, Great Britain, Kazakstan, Russia, Slovenia, France, Germany, Columbia.... Australia and US.
THE WADA LNDD lab offered to send lance's samples to any WADA accredited lab in the world to be tested for EPO.

...been caught?! You mean like been caught kicking arse in the Tour? He was (and likely still is) the most tested athlete in the world and has never failed a test. The only rip off is the the French and WADA labs - even in their corruption they couldn't allege Lance was dirty.

lance has been caught numerous times, but hes a big money draw so they turn a blind eye

That was a BODY SLAM for Garmin-Chipotle, to see Phinney hanging out with a drug-addict like Pharmstrong.
And you know Garmin is not helping the situation, promoting the "wolf gaurding the henhouse" style Public-Relations drug testing.

Also, they will do 'target tested' on certain riders. Lance might have periods where he gets tested 2-3 times in one week. Then he might go a long time with no test.
Lance is paying Catlin to run the 'independent' testing.
Quite frankely, I wasnt upset about Lance's return much.
What infuriated me was seing the former head of UCLA ant-doping lab turn out to be a lance-pay off, then Phinney moving from Garmin to Lance's team.

Lance is getting tested like every other rider on the UCI div 1. He's been tested about 165 times over his 20-year career. He probably gets one test a month out of competition and every other stage during a stage race.
Amounts of testing hasnt increases since the 1980's.
Riders nowdays have less race-days so thats why you have out of competitions testing. THe UCI races almost always have testing. "BACk in the day" riders used to do 100-120 race days per year so they didnt home-testing.

Did you reply to me possibly in error? My comment wasn't to you. I actually answered Samrussell90. I think you made a valid point and you don't have to apologize to anyone here.
Cheers. ;-) |
