Billy Preston was highly respected by George Martin and the Beatles, if he wasn't he wouldn't have been there.

I'm not a huge beatles fan but I am a fan of Billy Preston. He was a big part of the Beatles sound at this point and cultured them in many ways. I just think it's funny that they seem to avoid showing him at all. Give Billy some respect. That's all I'm saying. Otherwise stellar.

I do agree with you, but, I think that the negativity was just a reaction to the disruption of their normal lives. No reason to be upset, I mean, I would trade the normal routine for a Beatles concert Any day. Just another input, I think Playing 'Get Back' At the beginning and at the end was a great choice. Absolutely the best concert in the history of Rock music, the BEST. |
