That theatre rocks.
My dad works there(he voluntarily maintains the pipe organ there).Ever since I was a kid, my dad has been bringing me there to help him fix/repair the organ or just to accompany him there. I almost know every nook and cranny of the building. Steve Needleman is also my dad's boss. The Orpheum rocks.

ah yes, loved going to the movies here...in the early 80s mostly...
I tell everyone about the DTLA theaters, but i dont think they will understand til they see for themselves. I used to walk home from this block every night, i miss my nightly walks in LA

The Los Angeles Orpheum was just one of the many downtown theatres I used to see movies in during the 60's, 70's and 80's. I'm so thrilled that the Orpheum has been fully renovated and restored.

A majestic theater of the past. I got to seea movie there back in1993. It really outshines the movie going experience of today which is quite boring. Long live the orpheum

I regularly attended the Orpheum as a kid and teenager, early sixties. Miss those grand, ornate movie houses along Broadway and surround areas downtown.
