Amazing how many idiots there are calling this Illinois team the "greatest ever" in NCAA history. Those chokers didn't even win the tournament, and no Illini team ever has. No respect deserved, unlike Arizona, say, the 1997 NCAA champions!!

Illinois didn't deserve to win this game. For some reason, probably because they placed heavy bets on Illinois, the refs refused to call a foul on Illinois in the final 5 minutes, despite their numerous hackings and rapings of Arizona players. The refereeing was disgraceful. The only reason this wasn't highlighted during the broadcast was that Illinois was the media darling team that year, so they were all happy with the outcome, no matter how undeserving the Illini were.
