c) Do you watch japanese animes/movies in japanese with or without subtitles? Would you say you've learned japanese so far? d) I also prefer to watch movies/series in the original language - but at first I want to see it in german. That's the best way to follow the whole story and learn the language. e) That's not the real german dubbing, it's a fan-made dubbing. You would crap your pants from laughing if you could understand this language/dialect, so what :)

@Maafa1619: a) I guess Americans doesn't like dubbed films 'cause their Dubbing-Studios are bad. Voice-Actors often sounds like people catched from the street. German Dubbing-Studios are more professional, 'cause they often got talented Voice-Actors from theaters or cinema. b) Yes, we dub foreign movies into german, but Hollywood convert them into US-Remakes (see: The Ring, The Assassin, True Lies, Freeze or Quarantine for example). I guess thats more respectless than dubbing it.
