If you mean that he cuts her off mid story I think its just keeping to the shows time limit. Also it might be that hes not complety comfertable amoungst his guests, like a middleclass guy trying to hang out with working class guys.

Even when Pete can't see the audience, he still makes them join in.

man , ive watched a lot of these Seeger videos, and i totally think its rad and respect that he is exposing these amazing singers/artists to new people but i something about him just bothers me. maybe its his demeanor or something? I'm probably stating the obvious but i get i feeling that he thinks he is more divine than his guests.

i pay her tribute in my video response, liz cotten is an incredible player!

well right thats what i said that. i said shes playing a right handed guitar the way youd play a left handed one. if you dont flip it upsidedown the neck would just be sticking out behind you

Reply to Tianshou88 Oct 20, 2008 not only is the guitar right handed, she's playing it upside down.... it's not been re-strung... but the thickest string is on the bottom - where it would normally be on the top. If you know your chords at all, you can see that her chord positions are upside down. truly amazing....

her guitar style became known as cotten picking, no need for the thumbs down
