Agreed. I was reading the comments on a Twilight video to this song and one person wrote something like, "I really liked this song when I saw it in the prom scene but then I looked at the lyrics and it didn't make any sense!" I was sad.

I'm glad he is getting some exposure with movies I just really wish they would have selected a decent movie to put his music in. I have a feeling Twilight's fan base will attract a bunch of waterheads to Sam Beam concerts...

i do believe this song talks about politics and the state of the US right now, because sam beam said that when he wrote this album, he had the re-election of bush in his mind (he was surprised that he got re-elected). his songs tend to be mellow and his lyrics filled with metaphors and illusions, so it's hard to decipher the true meanings without further analysis... just because it was used in the prom scene, it's not really a love song... although the "have i found you?" really stuck out (:
