Strasburg Railroad on Easter, Part 2

For this Easter, many circumstances came up that caused an event that hasn't happened on the Strasburg Railroad in many years. Because of the length of the Easter trains, Canadian National 0-6-0 7312 (also known as 31) and Canadian National 2-6-0 89 teamed up in a rare push-pull train movement. One of the engines could handle the train to Paradise, but to get the train back to Strasburg would be a little more tricky. Here's how it works. One of the engines pulls the train from Strasburg to Paradise like normal. At Paradise, instead of coupling to the other end of the train, the other engine couples to the front. The engines team up in a rare push-pull run all the way to Esbenshade. There, the helper (back) engine uncouples and heads back for Paradise, while the front engine continues on to Strasburg. Witness as 7312 and 89 team up to get the trains back to Strasburg. This is the real deal, a true revenue push-pull steam operation. Enjoy!

A push pull is more rare. Plus this setup means they don't have to worry about running around
