This was part of the viral add campaign done by hbo for their show true blood, which takes place in the town around Sam's bar, he's a main character. It's not meant to do anything more then get you searching on the web to find out about the show, which had its finally last week, it will be back next summer catch up on the episodes and enjoy it for the great tv series it is, not go off thinking vampires are really because of this.

ok first of all, the vampire story is misunderstood, the first vampire came from the bible, the children of adam and eve, cain killed his brother and god cursed him and his decendants with the vampire curse, wich are various curses given by, uriel, grabriel and michael (god's archangels)the only way that god can "smite" them is if they call themselves a God, but if humnas give em that title on theyre own then god wont do anythin ;-) its a long story but thats kinda of a summary

I agree!!! and anyone who's done research into actual vampire mythology should know that in the actual legends, vampires are often NOT affected by sunlight at all, that that was a concept invented by Dracula movie directors cuz they couldnt figure out how to kill him!!

i can't believe this was actually almost 15 minutes long, and complete to boot. hbo is going far with this one, lol. it's cool, despite it confusing some ppl.. however, it does open up that topic about real vampires. as i think it should, of course. ^^
