quote from Jimmi Hendrix "I'm pretty good, but this cat blows me away"... not sure Hendrix wasn't being humble, but it's a shame few people today know just how good he was

One of my personal faves from the Chicago XI album, this song was the last time I heard Terry Kath let loose on his guitar in a studio recording. Take note that the band's horn section isn't on this tune but I loved the song just the same.

Can't say how many times I have watched this... over and over - simply amazing.

Terry and Ten Years After at Woodstock. Guitar hard and at it's best.

Yes, absolutely, hands down. I really miss his music and seeing him live, too. What a loss

HOLY MOLY! After 25 years of listening to the Chicago XI version of this song, it is incredible to hear and see this. Terry was in phenomenal form..He was pure soul, NO BS in his playing...raw, gutsy, balls to the wall rough and raucous guitar playing..(Of course he could also play sweet and tender when called upon to do so). Thank you so much for this....Awesome! |
