Okay, impressive in pure volume. Fine. However, their terrible tone quality and intonation and apparent even on Youtube. SunDevil, the hype is about the idea that they are playing alternative stuff, rather than the quality of their performance. Even Radiohead would agree that just because their music is played, doesn't mean it is played well. I'll be at Gammage for your concert tonight (12/4/08). Rock the House! P.S. Yes! Exactly right herbs4mike. Unfortunately, most of the posters here think that good/great/best marching band = cool music that they like, rather than quality sound and marching. The blasting edgy tone, high-dominated/unbalanced sound, and inconsistent M&M is characteristic of Rees' bands.
