The FREE MARKET demanded ALL governments lower interest rates in 2000~01 to counter the Dot Con turned Tech Wreck. It was the FREE MARKET that did this, with the government letting THEM in charge. The government did as it was TOLD by the free market, not the other way around. Blame the free marketeers, not the government. The government is STILL trying to do as the free market tells it to. It's the free market in charge, NOT the government.
