I don't care for Richard Butler's new stuff these days. This song was what largely made the Furs go into a mainstream dive. Bummer. Their Midnight to Midnight album was great, but it was nothing compared to Mirror Moves and earlier albums. The Furs speak to me though. They got me through those tough teen years.

Car scene at 1:24 is from Breakfast Club. And stuff from 2:35 to 3:10. Possibly the dancing at 0:17. You can spot the scenes because it's all the same shirt. BC is one day in detention, no chance to change. You can see her playing a not-so-nice character in the Bob Dylan video "Unbelievable."
