Herbert Von Karajan, who led the Berlin Philharmonic, is considered to have been one of the greatest conducters, and watching him perform it's easy to understand why. The Eroica, along with the fifth and nineth, are my favorite Beethoven symphonies. Incredible power and emotion in these masterpieces.
