Thank you "hoover4000" I was about to get a bit upset. For someone who has a humble heart and thankful spirit the comment LetsGoMets631 made is pretty comical. If you actually think the people were praising Phelps instead of the Lord during the song you are missing "it." I personally am lacking in both areas but by deeds, by heart and intent, by faith and yes by song people praise the Lord. By song the people were touched not by his skill but by the spirit they felt from the Lord through him.

Christian music helped light my path to Christ. I started going to church because the band was awesome. Then I realized God put me in front of them to help me understand His word. In 2002, I gave my life to Christ. If music can be used to reach me then it can reach anyone. Psalms 150:5 "Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with resounding cymbals."

I agree with hoover4000. I'm sitting at my computer and I feel like clapping...simply because you can hear and feel his conviction. Phelps is amazing but truthfully, all of the singers on that stage are in a league of their own. They are all simply fantastic.

I dont understand some people.. why do you always have to find something negitive!! I mean what's wrong with giving some credits to david! He's given a beautiful voice and he used his full will to develop it.. I think that's worth a good clapping and cheering.. try to see the possitive in people because that's what love dous.. gal. 5 peace and love david

That's so nice, they felt the "Holy Spirit." As for hearing testimony, I have never cried or clapped but that's ok you can continue to show your appreciation for the singing and hearing "great testimony" and I will continue to show my appreciation for Jesus.

This song has been such a comfort to me. Last week I found out my 19 yo daughter only has 5 or 6 years to live, and God used this song to comfort me all week. Yes, I still hurt and cry alot, but I am comforted by my own Salvation and especially by the fact that she is also saved. Also, I know full well that God is able to heal, and if He chooses to wait until the next life to heal her it is because that is what's best for her. God is a GREAT comforter!

They aren't praising his singing, they are praising because of the fact that one day the clouds will roll back and the King of kings will step down and say, come home my children. come home. If that don't make you stand up and shout, something's wrong.
