its not funny, there was ripple a couple of years back, in like season 14-ish, where it actually made me giggle a bit, but it hasn't truly been funny since season 6.

if by "get better over the years" you mean have Homer do one lame wacky thing after another and/or Lisa is being a self-rightous liberal bitch and/or the current flavor of the month band has a cameo shoehorned into an episode, then yes the Simpsons is freakin' awesome.

yeah seriously i stopped watching the simpsons several years ago. Every now and then Ill catch 10 minutes of a show and i turn it off. They stretched it out for waaay too long. It's a shame. Although surprisingly the movie was good.
