All the best parties in 1960's Glasgow (Scotland) included at least 1 Patsy songe... Everybody had to get up and do "Their Piece"! The cry would then be " Wan Singer, Wan Song!"
Fantastic!

To get the real feel of this song - imagine a big 78rpm juke box lit up all over.
You put the dime in. You press the Patsy Cline button. The record moves across out of the vertical stack. The turntable rises. The record is lifted to the pick-up arm. There's a hiss, and a plonk - and then that great guitar intro and this incredible voice....And for two minutes and forty eight seconds Patsy Cline has put the your deepest feelings into words and music forever.

It reminds me of coming home from school through the woods and you could hear my ma's music for miles with the windows wide open dancing her arse off with the hoover and then of course when she was pissed, but me and my sisters loved it xoxox |
