Ah, a very popular theory, isn´t it? And wasn´t Aishas father Abu Baqir (ABH), one of the Messengers (PBUH) closest allies? Why would he ever object against the rulings of the Messnger (PBUH)? And according to other sources, Aisha was married when she was 14. And none of the sources I know says that Aisha ever lost her virginity during her marriage with the Messenger (PBUH), but, of course, I may be wrong - I´m just a human being.

Wow, eventho you were referring to what is happening in the States, the same things happen all over the globe. Here in Malaysia, some of my friends even sample out Masjids to know which one would finish Tarawikh 1st.
BTW, those who only appear on the 27th are those who thought that that's the night of Lailatul Qadr...
