no, it has to be a mine because the U-Boats where not fast enough to keep up with the Britannic's to top speed to fire at the Britannic

In reality, Brittanic never carried 1 paying passenger.

Thanks, mind went blank for a moment.

the Britannic was most likely sank by a underwater mine.

Yes, it was the Lusitania, the Britannic (White Star Line) was most likely sank by a underwater mine and not a torpedo.
donaldengine9 (September 30, 2008 at 12:24 am)
I thought that was a Cunard ship that was hit by a torpedo

There were lots of differences like Titanic had an enclosed promenade deck Olympic had an open promenade deck that is visibly clear when you see the two sisters side by side Titanic was longer than Olympic and Britanic was longer Than Titanic. The Blue prints had to be different as the workers would have to have worked from these to make all those changes to Titanic Olympic and Britanic. They were not carbon copies of each other.

srry wrong because the tonnage displacement of the Britannic was larger than both the Titanic and Olympic, she was also longer than the Titanic and Olympic. Titanic: Length/Beam/Tonnage =882 feet/92.6/46,328 gross tons. Olympic: 882 feet/92.6/45,324 gross tons, then after last refit 46,439. Britannic: 903 feet/94 feet/48,158 gross tons.

i respectfuly disagree with you on the size of brittanic due to the fact the blue prints of all three ships are same with the difference of the safety features added over the period of time when they built all three of them are the same length, width, beam, and tonnage displacement. |
