Buster Keaton attempts to serenade a senorita and discovers it's more trouble than it's worth. From the Columbia short "Pest from the West", 1939. It was produced by Jules White, the man behind the Three Stooges. BTW, it would take me too long to explain why he's dressed like that so just go with it.

It's in the Buster Keaton Collection from Columbia, that features all the shorts he did for 3 Stooges director Jules White. It's available on Amazon...

"Pest From the West" Moments like this are far and few in his Columbia days. Still, given the chance, Keaton could be at the top of his game when the the spark was there.

This is beyond hysterical! I laughed so hard and still am. Buster was a genius and it is a shame that most young people today don't even know who he is....Keep the clips coming - thanks for the laugh :)
