I like watching this especially the two white men fighting back tears. It is as though from their long lives, they really know from the heart the goodness of GOD!

Hymn written after 2 big traumas in Spafford's life. The great Chicago Fire of Oct 1871 ruined him financially (he had been a wealthy businessman). Shortly after while crossing the Atlantic all 4 of his daughters died in a collision with another ship. His wife Anna survived and sent him a telegram "Saved alone" Weeks later Spafford's ship passed near the spot where his daughters died the Spirit inspired the words of eternal hope no matter the pain/grief on earth

I love that message at the beginning. Things can be tough, but it is true no weapon that is fashioned against us will stand! |
