My interpretation of this song has always been totally subjective to me in association.I did live in a rented shotgun house in New Orleans in the early 80's,moved to another far away place,California(another part of the world),got married(big auto,beautiful house & wife),got divorced,let her have the house,moved back to East(where does that highway go to)."After the money's gone"....I hope not.Happy to see Byrne today.A survivor.I remember the Heads on Manhatten cable back in 1975. |
