Is that really him at the end?

This is a great, if not the greatest moment in Oscar history. Very well deserved. Charlie was a genius of comedy and intellect, the greatest combination. He was so humble and genuine when he accepted this that it moved me to tears, literally.
Rest In Peace Charlie Chaplin, your legacy will never die.

What a great moment the Oscars ever had. In fact, that is the greatest moment in my opinion. Chaplin was a genius of comedy and intellect, the greatest combination. I actually wept while watching this, that is a first for me. R.I.P. Charlie Chaplin. Your legacy will never die.

After the presenter's speech they showed a tribute film which is left out here. It was the most beautiful and moving piece ever done on the Academy Awards.
