but yeah, you really cant compare them, cause jimi wasn't a technique kind of guitar player, he was more of the shred the shit out of the guitar, but it wasn't shredding, it was music. and jimmy is just an amazing musician, see him at the closing ceremony of the olympics?

yeah. you pretty much are right. but they are also really good at different things. You know. like different styles and stuff.

led zeppelin is my favorite band easily, jimi hendrix second. but id have to say jimmy page is better technique wise, but the feel of jimi hendrix is unbeatable, voodoo child slight return (stepping stone) was easily the greatest live recording of any song ever.

Overall , Led Zeppelin was the most complete band. Perfect sincronization on all 4 musicians.

hendrix was good for his time but slowly decayed i appreciate him for entering me into the world of blues but i think overall the guitarist itself i would have to say page is better.

the only way you can learn who is better is to study they way they play their music, my idol is actually Jimmy Page... But somehow Jimi Hendrix was the most interesting to learn, sometimes I said Why and how the hell did he came up with that... And also the solos and some riffs of Jimi Hendrix is not smooth, but he was the first, before that was all smooth... But no one ever tried it he was the first and it worked, why else would other guitarist come to visit him and get impressed...

Hendrix is much better than jimmy page, i love led zeppelin to death but jimi hendrix is a legend i put page third after hendrix and srv watch voodoo child live at woodstock and you will have to agree that hendrix is the best guitarist ever i'm a guitarist

a lot of this seems 2 b wether or not hendrix is a better guitarist than page. if page is better than why would he rip off hendrix'1983 a merman i should try 2 b' for this song.page is a great guitar player but come on... 1000 years from now whos name will b remembered out of the 2 and 4 what reason... there's ur answer
