Fred Astaire seduced his partners on the dance floor...and Sinatra does it here with a song!! His interplay with the luscious-but-distant Hayworth is marvelous; notice her reception gradually changes from haughty to bemused to downright falling for him as his brilliant swinging gains more and more confidence as the number goes along. The single best moment of "Pal Joey." Sensational!!
