I Remember this well form when I watched it in school when I was 12, I was the only person in my class who loved it! A good Chaplin film can always cheer me up no matter what <3.

i'm neutral when it comes to the original silent one and the narrated one, I love them both equally.
Chaplin's narrations are awesome, can you imagine having him tell you a bedtime story? that would be amazing!

This is one of my two favorite movies of Charlie's--the other being "City Lights." Great entertainer.

he was trying to bring it to a new audience before he saw his own "twilight" in his career. Keep in mind this was from 1925 and HADN'T been scored (as far as i know there was no cue sheet given to projector operators and the score was left to mr piano man wherever he was). He also changed some plot elements to make georgia more appealing |
