f was sooooo eager to see this movie and when i saw it i was embarassed and dissappointed...he made couple comments that was degrading and one was.."they use a relaxer cuz they wanna be white" that was his response when a professor asked why females get a perm

I agree, many films have the same concepts or ideas, just that its different. For Example: Barbershop and Beauty Shop, similar movie just that its the Female version of it.

that doesnt make any sense what u said...there are many movies and documentaries with the same concepts but that doesnt mean one copies from the other...thats jus stupid

Chris Rock should have taken some notes from real film makers, like this sister, before taking on such an ambitious endeavor.

Looking at the clips they have a similar theme, but Chris's is not as serious...Chris's is a little more candid.
