i just recently saw this movie. I don't consider this a gay movie. I consider it the best love story ever told. It's two beings that found each other. I'm glad they cast Heath and Jake. I think casting a non gay cast makes it more powerful. That by no means can you stop something so pure, no matter who you are.

It was a good story and the actors were good enough but I think that it was poorly produced, in my opinion. There wasn't any anticipation through the entire movie. Some scenes would be shown in detail as if it would be greatly significant later in the movie but the story was never built on. The story never really went anywhere. I think that the producer just tried to make it a long movie by putting in a bunch of "fluff."

i honestly dont understand why there are so many insulting comments and fights going on here. all you people think your so cool just because you find a movie about gay cowboys is funny. this was a great movie and the fact that it was about homosexuals didn't affect my perception of this movie at all. one more thing, maybe people should WATCH the full movie before bashing it.

you didnt come across homophobic, i dont think. they cheat on their respective partners, but have to hide it because its illegal at the time. they're isolated also, though, as they go on long trips, but thats not why they 'decide' to like each other.
