It's quite remarkable that a person with such low morals as Ann Coulter is given the media spotlight, while other more intelligent and benevolent individuals are shunned. But I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised; after all, this charade that we call the "television news media" offers very little of substance and plenty of hot air, and so Ann Coulter fits perfectly. Still, in my hopeless naivete, I long for the day when political commentary is treated seriously, without derision.
