I have to say I admire vegans. I went straight from meat eater to vegan, after doing research on global warming, and I couldn't hack it. So I'm staying Vegetarian for now, but hopefully one day I'll have the balls to cut off dairy too (although I'm sceptical about the side effects of soya substitutes)

@TheVeganHere I agree. Health care i believe should be given to all though. Its wrong to only give the middle class and rich health care but not the poor. I understand the worry of liberty but the American health reform would be a step in the right direction and private care is still available right?

I too have problems with Obama. Granted he is far better than Bush but far less than his backers expected he would be. Dennis Kucinich was my candidate, not Obama. I am very disturbed by his increasing the number of troops int Afghanistan and that we are still in Iraq. I am also VERY disappointed with what he is doing with health care. There needs to be a not for profit option.

I agree with everything but Obama has not delivered all his promises. He's need to bring troops home for peace in the middle east.

i saw Russel Simmons today on a empty street in Manhattan by the world trade center or ground zero if you want to call it. He was actually kind of rude, there was 1 or 2 people on the street and they recognized him and he didn't really bother to even look at at them. i said hi and he said "yea" and that was it.
