That wont be a 2.8, the cologne engine cant handle a turbo, and as NA, will only tune to about 180bhp with uprated cams. Thats about it. For a guess (although its a random stab, but a good conversion) its had a YB cosworth turbo lump fitted, which is (as we know from sierra and esky cosworths) VERY tuneable.

british designed fords will never be the best, never. they may well be powerful with mods such as this capri, like any car with mods will beat a 200kw v8 ( holden vt v8's are shit). take a look at the ford australia falcons, fastest 4 door in the world for over 10 years xy gt, best sports car in the world for under 100k AUD.
also look at the shelby cobra, no english ford will ever beat it

Geez some of you guys are high stress. The old ford won, if it had a turbo or not, it still won, If the V8 had a turbo it would have won. good vid, but the bitching sort of spoils it.
