Pssh i luv our hair...we re able 2 do so many things with it other races cant even attempt with their type of texture. the onli time i ever put weave in is for sum kinky twist n dats once in a while. if onli there wud be 1 an ultimate solution that every black female wud truly agree on for our hair, we wudnt have all these problems negative views on our hair n the way we take care of it.

i think beauty comes in all styles and black women have been blinded by hollywood when god made you beautifull really to be blunt to wear someone else's hair is disgracefull its like wearing someone else's underwear lets keep it real and make black beautifull again

'black is beautiful' you don't have to look 'white' to look good, i wish i had 'nappy' hair instead or straight asian type hair, so ? and, it's true, it is what it is, i do love chris because he pushes all the limits, but it's true what you say towards the end, who's 'beauty' is it? we just have to learn to love ourselves, it's not hard! love R

This is my thing at the end of the day what did he prove - There is nothing we can do not one damn thing can we do about the hair that grown from our heads . I think this movie just made all black people look bad in a negative light . we are always airing out dirty laundry for the world to see. You dont see white folks making a movie about a FLAT ASS

i had a dread lock weave once. I accidentally cut off one of my long locks when grooming and separating them. I bought some nappy hair at a store in Los Angles and had the stylists at Oh My Nappy hair weave my severed lock back into my hair.

I've rarely had that response form anyone about my natural hair style. I get compliments from everyone black, white, hispanic, asian....I am self- styled. Haven't let anyone else in my hair or years...

I watched the movie online. I'm glad I saved my money this way. THe movie was a disappointment, although I give him props for even brining the subject out in the open for all to see. No talk about natural hair at all. THe stars were basically saying how much they loved their weaves. I think melissa ford said that she didnt know how the average black woman affords the weaves. So the stars got it made, the average everyday black woman has to choose between bills or getting her hair "done".

I would never put no one elses hair on my hair because straight human hair has a high ph level compared to tight curly hair.
