I think you should lower your expectations and you won't be so disappointed next time you see a "pretty boy". Then you would see a very talented actor with a dry witty humor and a regal and dare I say noble quality about him. He has come a long way from the teenager in House of Pain. I truly respect the stuff he does on the screen. I love Mark the way he is as I do Brad. Hope I didn't come off to crass. Peace.

@capoman1 - well said. It is very sad to me, being in Ent. biz, that kids see actors like marky mark as "GREAT ACTORS/people". I don't 'hate' him, that is a strong word, but I am so disappointed that people think he's 'great'. Out of all the movies he has been in... how many did he NOT punch someone out??? 1? maybe 2? small penis syndrome. his agents put it in his contract. ("and don't forget to put him w/the hottest girl around at that time!!")

@capoman1 I certainly think he brings a bit of realness. He shows masculinity, confidence, and an uncompromising attitude. He is like a real guy who had this rough past and now only takes projects of passion. I personally love his serious face, and i believe it shows alot of torture and confliction...almost as good as Heath Ledger's serious conflicted face. I think thats what people see in him...i mean thats what i see in his sexy ass

I'm not sure what people see in Mark Wahlberg. It's not like he is brain-dead like Keanu. But he seems very bland and void of any exciting character to me. I often expect a little more from pretty boys; I expect them to get by on MORE than just their looks. Brad Pitt is a perfect example of a pretty boy that has shown a TON of character.
