Conductor Jack Norton sings In-Laws And Out-Laws
Here's an old live clip of musician Jack Norton singing a song with his former bluegrass/swing band "Jack Norton And The Mullet River Boys."
They played music for all ages (like the song in this clip), but now Jack pretty much just plays music for kids as "Conductor Jack", a friendly train engineer.
In the band he played the guitar, ukulele and trumpet and was joined by Chad Germand who played the banjo or fiddle and Jack's cousin Liz who played the string bass for "the Boys". This trio was REALLY popular in Minnesota a few years ago before Jack started doing kid's music. I remember reading that they were considered "The Midwest's #1 Bluegrass Band".
I shot this at the Minnesota Bluegrass and Old Time Music Festival.
