The problem with communism isn't exactly the ideology, but the way it is inevitable abused by the powers that be. Most who obtain power and control do so by being aggressive and with disregard to humanity. So, inevitably, those who don't obtain it (the majority) only share poverty and are forced to accept it as their future.
