utterCandida288 what rubbish! - correct transliteration from cyrillic to English results in Kyiv - beacuse there were so many versions of Kyiv floating around the Ukrainian Govt decided on one correct version based on the Ukrainian transliteration and no one elses -

people spell it kiev because it would be spelled way different in the cyrillic alphabet, something like K backwards N the symbol for e sound i know what it looks like but i have no key for it and then B so it doesnt matter how you spell it in english because it just doesnt

Free Ukraine is recovering following the dark and repressive years of Russian Soviet occupation - help Ukraine rebuild its culture - small things like calling its capital by correct and official name Kyiv all helps in the interest of maintaining a free and independent Ukraine
