It should be noted that i do not take any credit for these set of 5 videos about meditation...i found them on another users account here on youtube & thought they would be helpful for the many people i have email me & ask me about meditation & how they should begin. I feel these videos give one of the best & most detailed & easy to understand descriptions of meditation that i have come across either in book, video, or cd form this is my reason for sharing them. how long should i observe the breathe for? and while observing the breathe, should i concentrate on the third eye center or not? Plz help.

No thought is easy to get too. As long as you refuse to make those thoughts personal(don't chase them), then you'll run out. Patience & don't chase.

I try every night before sleep, but it seems a bit difficult to achieve to the stage no thought no breathe, but it helps to sleep well anyway. Thank you for posting these clips. I hope I can achieve further for searching inside myself. It really a very different of my existing

I don't know if it will help you but should be different if meditate in the morning or before going to sleep. In the morning it helps you to face the whole journey with energy and in peace. if you meditate before sleeping it will helps you to sleep deeply. And that's very healthful because it is like meditate all night long. many people that watch tv or think about problems before sleeping or other things activate their minds for the whole night and don't allow them to get any rest.

This was an interesting presentation but I think it is mislabeled- it really wasn't a video on "How" to meditate, per se. It was more of a survey of some of the potentials associated with effective meditation. I would still be interested in a video that described "How" to meditate. I would expect a discussion of various breathing techniques, visualizations, and guidance through some of the subtle (and not so subtle) experiences that might come up. Please advise if you know of any such videos.

when i meditate ( closed eyes ) everything turns dark blue ...can you please explain what that is ?

Hi Vicariousification :) The answer is very clear & simple. There r no set times or cycles when it comes 2 what will happen or when...every1 is different & so progresses @ a different rate...the advice i give 2 people is not 2 focus on these things & instead work on solid & good quality practice...this is the key. My third eye is more active @ times & not so much @ other times...obe & third eye activation happened within the first year of meditating (im now on my 5th) Peace Pete
