i get sleep paralysis every few weeks or months. kinda scary but i'm used to it now.

Bonnie PLC do a google search on a thing called SLEEP PARALYSIS I think you may have had a bout of this. I have had it many times, you cant move, you hear a load ring/buzzing noise you sometimes thing your being dragged out of your bed, It feels like something is sitting on you etc. these are all symptoms of this and it can be quite frightening sometimes. I do believe in life after death but i think what you've described was a hallucination. I could be wrong though.

One night a month ago I felt as if i was falling too far asleep and then i felt the lower 2/3 of my body become paralyzed or practically nonexistant. i felt my energy sort of vacuum up out of my head, heard a few strange phantom noises... Then I heard a consistent mechanical ROAR and was looking down a dark dark tunnel that had a maroon colored edge. To me this signaled me that my body was shutting down so i forced myself awake by jerking my arm. I stayed up for a while before going back asleep.
