after owning one of these (#009) this is probably the best looking eye candy vehicle ever.. attention whore that it is gathers a crowd werever it goes,. the first units had a yamaha 400 and later one had goldwings plugged into the back, mine has a GSX suzuki wedged inside.. see my vids of some of my toys onyou tube,,look for microtrike, BUBU501, Heinkel Parade for a sample..steveg.

I would actually buy this and drive it every day and only use my truck for loading things. Its like a motorcycle you can drive in the rain! I love it! I could sell my current motorcycle and drive this thing....LOL

It's now 2009! And the cars on the road look NOTHING like this. All these car manufacturers ( who could very well go out of business) are just copying each others' products and making the same boring thing over and over...

HAHAH SAID so by an engineer from the 80s yet for years cars company refused to lower emission or hybrid thats explained why they are in bankrupcy and could not compeat with cars company from asia

I actually saw one of these on display at the local mall back in the 80s! I thought it was awesome (and I still do)!

I worked with Jim Bede over the summer. We were talking about bringing this back. His was destroyed when the building that was storing the prototype and plans caught fire. I am hoping to bring this back in a couple years.

Jim Bede said that auto manufacturers will change. 30 years on and the cars are just as heavy and cost more to buy and more to maintain and gas is 5 times more expensive. The car hasn't changed because 'Big Oil' wants it that way. Jim Bede is the Da Vinci of our time. Leonardo's inventions took 500 years to get off the ground too. Expect these cars in 2470 AD. |
