to squirrelbong: I agree with you. Keeping your money in a bank is a dangerous situation at this time. The problem is....if you only have like a few thousand dollars thats no big deal to keep at home but if you have 100,000 dollars that gets a bit nerve wracking keeping that kind of cash in the house

to gearzone2611: FDIC is the :"Federal Deposit Insurance corporation" insures the "deposits" but not the bank itself. FDIC keeps a certain amount of money set aside just for this kind of event. Before there was FDIC if a bank went under you lost all your cash....forever. Like what happened in the great depression of the 1930s. BUT....here is the problem...what will happen when FDIC runs out of funds from bailing all the banks out.....

Ahh a sexist. Not all men are the same. Youve probably associated yourselve with the WORST of men but not all men are the same. MEN pretty much invented all the stuff that you see around that you take for granted. Smartest people are men that run the country, science association, sports, electronics, etc. So before you request for this to be a woman-only world first study the face that women and men are meant to work as one.
