such a beautiful song, touched my heart and this song was played at the funeral of one of my friends eloise :) she was 11 years old died - 7/06/2009, will be be greatly missed, never forgotten you are beautiful :) i love you ellie x

In answer to tOOMey93 and MustangRegan, no, she did not know she was ill when she recorded this. In June 1996 she had pains in her hip which she incorrectly supposed to be bursistis; it was actually melanoma metastisizing to her bones. By November she was gone. This was January 1996. But you're right, that plaintive, wistful note in her voice is undeniable,
