We can't actually say megaladon is an extinct species. Science is always changing. I am not against nor favoring anyone's comments.
The technology that we have now can't reach deep into the ocean. There are many animals that we have yet to discover that live within the darkness of the oceans. My hypothesis is that we're in only 25% or maybe 15% of what the ocean holds.
Probably when technology advances to go deep into the ocean, we'll make a discover that megalon, maybe, still exist.

of course it's fake this is just a show that shows creatures that were alive long ago and showing how they would react to people. but every animal in this show was alive at one point in time
