Well as for all your comments a movie isn't about its effects or lack there of.
This movie is attractive to me for it's apparent story. Invaders deciding to take by force something they want with no care for the damage it causes to the rightful inhabitants. It's happened all through our history and it's simply a war crime.
I'm gonna watch it in the hopes that the underdog wins. It's not aobut crazy blue skinned people and computer graphics.
It's a story you're meant to THINK about.

It looks good and ill definitely go see it but all movie's of late spend more on cgi and the visual aspect of the movie's rather than ensuring that the viewers brain is stimulated with a coherent story and that there are over 200 words of dialogue in it.
Out of the last 20 films i saw i can say Iron Man was the only one that stuck in my mind as i left the cinema, all the rest are forgotten within half hour of leaving, and that's not worth my 10 bucks imo.
Just hope this lives up to the hype

No i'm not.
All I see on this tralier is only good lokings 3d graphics. But it's not that revolutionary or impressive as Terminator was 4 me long ago. As ive said - is typical for our age.
And I dont see the difference in graphics beetween Avatar and 2012 for example. Where all 500millions of dollars gone - only God knows. It would be better to spend aprox 200mill on movie and other moneys give to poor people or else.
Or hire guys from Square Enix for even better CG graphic, but cheaper :)

When I first saw the trailer I thought it was all CG like Beowulf or something but it actually looks pretty well integrated with the live action. I hate the 3D aspect of movies; it costs more, takes away from the film and hurts your vision overall. There is absolutely no good reason for 3D movies other than to make it seem better than it really is. I'm gonna wait for the blu Ray, I hate people and I hate crowds and theaters.
